ദേശമംഗലം(തൃശ്ശൂർ): ഇറച്ചി തൊണ്ടയിൽക്കുടുങ്ങി ശ്വാസതടസ്സം മൂലം ഗാനരചയിതാവ് മരിച്ചു. ദേശമംഗലം ഒലിച്ചിയിൽ താമസിക്കുന്ന ചെരുവിൽ വീട്ടിൽ ഭാസ്കരൻ(മണി-67) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്.

ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച രാത്രി കുടുംബത്തോടൊപ്പം ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് സംഭവം. അസ്വസ്ഥതയോടെ കുഴഞ്ഞുവീണതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് വാണിയംകുളത്തെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും മരണം സംഭവിച്ചിരുന്നു. അപ്പോഴൊന്നും മരണകാരണം എന്തെന്ന് വ്യക്തമായിരുന്നില്ല.

ജീവിതശൈലീരോഗങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ അസ്വാഭാവിക മരണമായതിനാൽ ചെറുതുരുത്തി പോലീസ് കേസെടുത്ത് മൃതദേഹം പോസ്റ്റുമോർട്ടം നടത്തിയപ്പോഴാണ് തൊണ്ടയിൽ ഇറച്ചിക്കഷ്ണം കുടുങ്ങിയതായി കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.
